Commissioned into United States Air Force  Served 20 years active and reserve duty in the USAF, flying C-130s and C-141s worldwide including 18  months in Southeast Asia.

Divorced - One son, born 1965

Most memorable moment at AS: That giant fire-cracker (not a bomb) exploding in the open, rear corner of the Gym during morning-assembly.

Favorite Teacher: Mr. Juragi - His dynamic lectures made World History come alive.

The closest I got to Manila was during the Vietnam conflict was flying in and out of Clark AFB, now buried under the ashes of Mt. Pinitubo.
