What happened after Manila? I don't know . . . fill me in, please. Hey, we're talkin' 43
years here! You can't possibly think I could remember?
Number of child-like offspring: 1 daughter who is entering her final year a Sacramento
State for a degree in Business Management. Well, her bachelor's anyway . . . I think she
intends on continuing on to a Masters. (At least that is why I keep sending her money.)
Job Info: Fire Inspector with the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District in Incline
Village, Nevada. (Third career!)
Hobbies: Involved in church, local service clubs, and volunteer work. Hiking, skiing,
snowshoeing.
Most memorable memory? (Superfluity?) Gosh, there are soooo many.
Let's see . . . there was the time we
connected the water outlets to the gas lines in Prof. Kranes laboratory (Did you know that
the water pressure was greater than the gas pressure and that caused the propane tank to
fill with water? Who were those guys?)
Oh, then there was the time a bunch of us stood atop the good Prof's desk. (I've got a
picture of that trick.) Or, when we hooked the magneto to the classroom door knob with a
"shocking" outcome.
Probably the best of all was when we of the "Sangley Gang" purloined the case of
emergency signal flares from the launch during our trip across the bay. Wouldn't you know
it . . . that was the day the boats engine "conked out" on the way back to the
base. The next we knew the Navy's Shore Patrol was at the school rounding us all up and
searching lockers for the "booty." Then Navy C.I.D. interrogated us for hours
without discovering the true "perps." God, we sure stuck together! And I could
go on and on, but that's all for now folks!
Favorite teacher: That would have to be the good Professor Krane. Or, wait, was it Eugene
Barrel?
Haven't been back yet. I'm still waiting for the postponed PI Reunion. |
