At AS: Grades 10-12  (1964-67)  

Favorite teacher:
Mrs. Johnson (creative writing).  She had a great sense of humor and really inspired us to write.

Favorite class:
Creative writing with Mrs. Johnson

School story:
Once in class Mrs. Johnson was startled when a mouse ran into the class. She screamed and jumped up on her desk. Not an easy task since Mrs. J. would not be considered petite. 

Senorita Martinez, came into the classroom to see what the problem was. When she saw all the students laughing & Mrs. J screaming, Senorita apologized for interrupting what she mistakenly thought was some sort of stunt by Mrs. J. to get us to write. This made us all laugh even more.
